Welcome to Eastover Community Primary School.

Discover and Grow, Together.

Eastover School is a good school where our pupils enjoy an exciting education, providing both focus on the core subjects, together with the diversity needed to develop the overall child. We are proud of our varied and exciting curriculum aimed at developing the whole child.

At Eastover we believe that children learn best when home and school work together and we encourage parents to become actively involved in those areas of school and learning that directly affect their child and also the wider life of the school.

We are all very proud of our school. Our Victorian buildings are full of character and set in the heart of the community. We are always happy for new parents to arrange a visit so that they can come and see for themselves or to come and visit us on our Open Days in the Autumn term.

Year 5 Trip to @Bristol
Wednesday 12th February - all day
Our topic this term is Film and Animation. As part of this topic the children will be creating animations. Our trip linked to this topic is to @ Bristol. The children can walk around all the areas at the museum and will experience a one hour workshop where they will use the equipment that is part of the ‘Animate It’ exhibition.

We will leave school straight away at 9:00am. We will depart Bristol at 2:00pm, in time to return to school for the end of the day. The cost of the trip is heavily subsidised by the school and will only cost £8.00.

The children will need to bring a packed lunch and wear their school uniform. If your child normally receives free school meals, a packed lunch will be provided.
